Service, dedication, and sacrifice are words that Brandon Ingram lives by. Not just in his role at MES – Poseidon, but also in his daily life. He is a decorated, honorably discharged US Army Infantry veteran. He gave 8 years of his youth serving tours all over the world, 4 of those in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. A recipient of the Bronze Star and the Sergeant Audie Murphy Award, Brandon has proven his ability to lead successfully.
Before arriving at Poseidon in 2019, Brandon ran assembly lines for Tech Data, an Ohio Fortune 500 company, before heading to Indiana to join a logistics company that fed automaker General Motors.
Family life brought him to Berne, Indiana, where MES – Poseidon was able to bring this young man with all his skill into their team. Brandon has excelled in every task that he has taken on.
Currently at MES, he serves in the role of EHS Manager for all locations across the nation. He also has gained a NACE/AMPP Level 2 Certified Coatings Inspector accreditation in his time with the organization. This certification trained him well, giving him confidence in the surface prep / coatings systems that MES incorporates into their product lines. “Cause and effect”, Ingram says, “Understanding these factors when a customer may have an issue is paramount to us. Understanding proper prep and the right coating technologies from the start enable us to minimize issues for our customers before they materialize.”
Brandon has overseen operations in 9 different departments at MES’s – Poseidon facilities. From parts fabrication, steel grit blasting and final finish, he’s touched nearly every part of the process of producing a Poseidon sectional barge. When asked if he could describe MES and Poseidon in a few words, he knew just what he wanted to say.
